Who saw the first full moon of spring in all its glory early this morning? Kudos to early bird Karen Pavone Photography for catching the Worm Moon! And speaking of the moon, mark your calendars as our own Friends Of Taylor Observatory in Kelseyville presents “Artemis; NASA’s plan to return to the Moon,” this Thursday, 03/28/24.
For the first time in over 50 years NASA is sending Astronauts to the moon! Learn about the machines that will get them there, the scientists and engineers that made it possible, and what we hope to gain on this next great adventure. After each show (weather permitting) guests are invited to view the night sky through the Observatory’s telescopes.
